We talked a little bit in my last post about the doctor’s wife. We already know that she was the daughter of a well known business man. Her father owned a good amount if land, where he had a built several houses. Rumour had it that they were of German and Dutch descendant; either ways they didn't care too much about it as their inheritance was more important to them. Since managing their wealth is all they wanted they didn't even bother approaching higher education. Since the inheritance had been very important to them they planned of not having too many children as it would cause turmoil dividing the wealth between their children; at least according to them.
Their obsession towards their wealth ran as deep as to actually fog their vision and make them lose their inner humanity; rumour had it that the doctor’s wife had left his wife’s mother without a care taker knowing she was ill for the sole reason that it was a period in which they needed his assistance at the farms. If this wasn't enough when his wife’s mother died instead of actually being there for her he would stand at the door complaining why nobody congratulated him on such a very well done job…
